- Managing legal works within the company based on superior's instruction
- Drafting, advising and reviewing of contract for DKSH MM and its subsidiaries
- Supporting superior in managing daily administrative works of the team
- Supporting superior in managing corporate governance/company secretarial works for DKSH MM and its subsidiaries
- Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
- Support the management of country legal matters/documentations and resolution of legal matters related to governance/compliance/code of business ethics/corporate social responsibility, etc.
- Advise the country on basic corporate/commercial/contract laws, etc. and non-complex legal issues to manage business legal implications
- Coordinate and implement due diligence processes and activities within the country to enforce a structured approach to legal management
- Manage the country's filing of cases/lawsuits and interactions with external legal counsels to facilitate efficient management of litigations/arbitrations
- Conduct fact-finding and report legal risks. Support in the preparation of reports and analyses to report on legal risks from a country perspective
- Execute country legal/​compliance projects to ensure areas needing change and improvement are acted upon
- Support internal stakeholders on non-complex legal matters. Gain better understanding of financial, tax, compliance processes, etc. to enhance the quality of legal advice given
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with external legal advisors/legal community to keep up-to-date with laws, regulations and best practices

- Degree in Law from a reputable university

- Experience practicing law in a law firm with business law orientation or in the in-house legal department of an organization is preferred
- Experience in managing corporate governance and company secretarial works especially the new Myanmar Online Company platform

- Demonstrate good working knowledge and understanding of the business and industry
- Demonstrate good working knowledge of corporate law, contract and commercial law, including country-specific laws
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in any other language is an additional asset
- Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in cross-country/culture interactions
- Demonstrate ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with integrity
- Demonstrate proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate knowledge of adaptation of the law within the cultural/legal framework of countries
