Key Roles and Responsibilities

Role summary:

• The role is being positioned to assist the Team Lead of Project Management to bring together all the key stakeholders of the said initiative, which is in-line with business plans endorsed by management.
• The role holder would be assisting the team to follow up closely on the development of the project and manage risks as well as to escalate issues to the appropriate forum for resolution/mitigation.

Responsibilities:

Project Monitoring & Reporting:

• To plan, budget, oversee & document all aspects of the specific project he/she is working on
• To work closely within the PM team & assist to provide updates to senior management to ensure that the project is on schedule & the scope and direction of each project is aligned with the project objectives
• To continuously monitor tasks being assigned & escalate risk at the appropriate project forum & recommend ways in which those risk could be sufficiently mitigated 

Business Engagement:

• To engage key stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the project or tasks that had been assigned under a project.

Change Management:

• To work with the project team for Change Request(s) which have been submitted by the business community such as to manage the process delivery for those changes based on the prescribed process steps.

Resource Planning:

• To assist the PM team in ensuring that resources required for the project have been sufficiently catered & optimized for the duration of the project.

Quality & Satisfaction:

• To deliver to the stakeholders’ expectations. & ensure they are satisfied with the results.

Qualifications:

• A university degree with some keenness on project management as a career.

Competencies:

• Should preferably have some understanding of project management work.
• Theoretical and practical project management knowledge would be an added advantage.
• Possess some experience in risk management or change management
• Proficiency in project management software tools would be an added advantage,
• Some understanding on the business operations would be an added advantage.
