Job Description

  • Act in a pleasant, cheerful and courteous way and alert at all times. Follow up the telephone courtesy.
  • Has a good understanding of people, genuine interest in housekeeping service and thorough knowledge of guest facilities.
  • Check daily collection and delivery of linen with laundry and collection of guest laundry by valet and check the laundry list . Check issuing and receiving of linen record, uniform record and the machine operation daily.
  • Check the house linens and uniform according to the standard.
  • Control and check iron, board and adapter stock. Record damage linen list.
  • Do monthly linen inventory as schedule is set.
  • Co-operate with F & B about the linen (T/C, Napkin)
  • Coordinate with linen supervisor for staff uniform and guest laundry.
  • Inspect the garments before returning them to the guest.
  • All items are counted / Check for possible errors / Be sure garments are not over crowded in the bag or hanger.
  • Conduct the daily briefing and giving the necessary information to all staff. Make orientation for new staff. Check the staff’s ability, performance (mending, sewing, marking linen, washing, drying, pressing) and punctuality.
  • Attend and participate in departmental meetings when directly assigned by HOD. Report accident to HOD. Carry out work delegated by HOD. Report back the information for the request/complaint to HOD.
  • Fill up the daily supervisor report. Write P/A logbook every day. Handover the necessary information to the next shift supervisor.
  • Assign the work for public area cleaner.
  • Make orientation for new staff.
  • Conduct the daily briefing and giving the necessary information to all P/A staff.
  • Attend and participate in departmental meetings when directly assigned by HOD.
  • Report accident to HOD.
  • Carry out work delegated by HOD.
  • To perform the other duties assigned by Management.

  • Good communication and customer contact skills
