KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Advising all business divisions of Yoma Bank on legal issues, including providing advice on all applicable laws, rules and regulations that apply to the banking sector
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents in relation to the Bank’s day to day operations and activities, including finance documents, non-disclosure agreements and commercial contracts at the direction of and under the supervision of the Legal Counsel
• Managing the Bank’s Litigation cases, including liaising with external counsel
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents relevant to the Bank’s own internal operations, including services contracts and partnership agreements at the direction of and under the supervision of the Legal Counsel
  Assisting in developing standard agreements and customer-facing terms and conditions for new activities and products
• Conducting legal research
• Assisting in preparing procedures and policies as and when required
• Liaising with and building relationships with all levels of the business
• Performing any other responsibilities as assigned.

Experience & Skills

Essential

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in legal field and should have strong experience in Business Law.

Education & Special Training

Essential

• Must be a L.L.B holder and other qualifications in law

Languages

Essential

• Strong command of both English and Myanmar in both written and verbal
