Legal Manager will be mainly responsible for review, study, and advise the management in all legal related documents and activities according to Myanmar’s laws and regulations as well as internal regulations of the bank but not limited to the below:

• Ensure all of the bank’s required legal documentation is valid and compliant with laws
• Provide legal opinions for non-standard documentation
• Advise Management on any legal issues of daily banking transactions and operations
• Draft contracts, negotiate in commercial projects and check the legal conformity of the legal documents, documents and proxies as required by business to ensure the legality of entering credit contract, mortgages and any other contracts as necessary.
• Provide legal consultancy, plans, process to Management
• Coordinate with NPL activities for effective NPL and collateral administration.
• Negotiate, file claims, auction mortgage assets or restructure indebted business in accordance with laws and internal regulations of the Bank, as well as support the implementation, giving professional guidance on debts handling to the related departments     

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Legal function (preferably from Banking and Finance industry or international law firms)
• Proven Experience in all aspects of legal documentation, drafting, litigation based on Myanmar legal requirements
• Strong command of written and verbal communication skills in English
• Professional attitude and appearance, good communication skills
