Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

  1. To actively participate in the negotiation and drafting of legal documents, in particular, to ensure the business supported adequately at the operational level (including employment, Technology and operation)
  2. Assist in making the draft of Terms and Conditions for the new business activity
  3. Update the Terms and Conditions based on given facts for contract
  4. Assist in reviewing the Agreements before executing the Agreements
  5. Compare the Agreements old and new version once the other party gives their feedback
  6. Interpret and draft Agreements and letters between Myanmar and English
  7. Analyze on Myanmar laws, regulations and procedures while coordinating with the associated departments
  8. Create, prepare, review and edit all contracts
  9. Troubleshoot contract-related problems, such as breach of contract
  10. Draft and revise a variety of contracts
  11. Ensure the contract documents are accurate and well maintained
  12. Provide advice to the different terms relating to contract generation
  13. Provide accurate translations of contracts
  14. Translate documents from local language to English language.
  15. Other legal related tasks as assigned by Management

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Law, Economics, or equivalent
  2. At least 5 years post qualification experience.
  3. Prefer experience in Telecom Industry and ISP
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills, influential, strong teamwork qualities.
  5. Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating general commercial contracts. Employment, competition, sanctions and/or regulatory experience highly desirable.
  6. Basic awareness of Intellectual Property principles (i.e., trademarks, copyright etc.). Ability to understand the business, its strategies, its people and its organizational structures.
  7. Awareness of legal and commercial risks and the ability to establish means for managing such risks consistent with business objectives.
  8. Sound judgment when balancing legal risks against the business benefits
  9. Fluent in both written and spoken English is a must have and the candidate should be articulate and able to effectively communicate legal issues to the business.
  10. Solid interpersonal skills together with a practical, competitive and solution-oriented mindset.
