Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the review and drafting of business/commercial contracts.
  • Managing the intellectual property assets of the company, liaising with external IP law firms.
  • Monitor and research on new and existing laws, regulations and government practices to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
  • Work with other department within the company to educate, implement, promote and enforce policies such as Code of Business Conduct, Anti-Corruption etc.
  • Managing litigation cases, if any liaising with external lawyers/counsels and legal advisor.
  • Assisting in the preparation of and conducting internal training and presentation.
  • Translate related legal documents when required.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • LL.B or Law Degree is required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in commercial law practice. (A valid lawyer license preferable).
  • Good knowledge of business law, companies law, IP laws and business contract.
  • Good analytical and legal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and good communication/negotiation skills of fluence in spoken and written English.
  • Proactive, mature, detail-oriented, logical thinking/writing, integrity and adaptability.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
