An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Installation and Configuration of Red hat Servers 5.0/6.0/7.0
  • Configuration of Network resources, adding & configuring Virtual NIC. Install, update, and upgrade the packages using rpm and yum tools
  • Configuration of Remote Access utilities, providing user access control on services like telnet, FTP, and ssh
  • Monitoring the Server’s performance using performance monitoring tools like commands etc
  • Configuring and Maintaining the Disk Quotas and ACLs (Access Control Lists) for users. Configuring the LVM (Logical Volume Manager) and extending the logical volumes online. Creating and Managing the File Systems
  • Having experience with automation concepts like shell scripting and capable of preparing scripts from a project perspective
  • Installation and configurations of NFS and FTP
  • Responsible for creating, modifying, and deleting users, and groups and assigning permissions to users and groups
  • Installation and configurations of DHCP and DNS Servers
  • Having experience in Hardware maintenance, replacement of the server, Upgrade of Kernel & OS, Server migration, and Virtualization
  • Knowledge such as Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change

Job Requirements

  • B.C.Sc / B.C.Tech / B.E IT or other relevant qualification
  • Relevant Industry Linux Certifications. RHCSA, RHCSE is mandatory
  • 3-4 Years experience in the related job role
  • Experience in Hardware maintenance, replacement of the server, Upgrade of Kernel & OS, Server migration, and Virtualization.
  • Knowledge such as Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change.
  • Red hat Linux, Networking, Knowledge about Servers and Desktop computers as well
  • Good communication in English language
