Position Summary:

• Manage intermodal team including all inland physical execution (truck, barge, railway and customs clearance)
• Monitor team performance, problem solving, escalation, training
• Be responsible for managing a team size of 6+ members, executing all inland physical execution (truck, barge, railway and customs clearance)

Key Resposibilities:

• Be responsible for managing a team size of 6+ members, executing all inland physical execution (truck, barge, railway and customs clearance)
• Be the first escalation point to solve or coach the team member to solve the daily operation problems.
• Be responsible for implementing new operation projects, implementing joint projects with other functional teams
• Daily follow up, build up controlling tools, set up processes
• Set up regular meetings with internal parties and with external parties (Carriers, brokers, vendors, ...) to review performance and improve operation processes.
• Support Customer service team in customer query resolution and exception handling
• Engage team members, ensure they work in a collaborative manner & make effort for improvement in team performance
• Conduct regular training, coaching to team members
• Be a good example for striving for continuous improvement.
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management

• Over 3 years working experience preferably in supply chain industry.
• Strong experiences in local customs process and multi modes of inland transportation.
• Experience in managing a team size of 6+ people.
• Proven track record of continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience in new process set up and implementation.
• All candidates are expected to be excellent in written/spoken English and be computer literate with a working knowledge of office application.
• Experience in project management and project implementation are a plus.
