The purpose of the role is to manage the secure transport fleet used for the transport of cash and valuables across the organization.  The role will be responsible for the vehicle fleet – security, allocation, maintenance, cost and efficiency; transport fleet staff – training, compliance, and productivity; and for the efficient execution of delivery/collection.

• Directs and oversees the team's daily business and operational activities to drive value creation, ensure achievement of NPS and productivity targets, and promote alignment with Best Practices
• Adapts current processes and systems, and implements new approaches to meet current as well as emerging business trends
• Reviews subordinate(s) work, provides on-going feedback and guidance, and employs problem solving methods and techniques to resolve issues/problems effectively.
• Develops and administers the team's work schedules, and establishes, monitors and reviews performance requirements; may be responsible for budgetary planning and analysis, and for initiating corrective actions
• Develops and maintains understanding of products/processes and advises management, businesses and relevant third parties
• Ensure all transport related activities are conducted in a safe manner by following all safety rules and considering safety in all aspects of completing assigned tasks.
• Ensure all staff are aware, properly trained and comply with applicable regulatory, site and business safety procedures.
• Develop and ensure effective maintenance programs to achieve maximum fleet availability for operations.
• Oversee fleet allocation (to operational locations) to best match fleet capacity with business demand.
• Manage daily fleet operations to achieve maximum customer services (as measured by DIFOT).
• Delivery best practice productivity from fleet resources. (Jobs per vehicle hour; jobs per km travelled, etc.)
• Develop and propose a fleet expenditure budget.
• Manage fleet costs to the approved budget.
• Develop and recommend improvement programs to drive efficiency and customer service

• Degree in automotive engineering or Logistics Management

• must have strong expereicne in Fleet allocation, Budget management

• must have experience as manager role for a significant workforce (>50 staff)

• To possess good english in writing and speaking
