Job Description

I.  Position Purpose

Manager, Customer Value Management (CVM) & Segmentation is responsible for providing analytical and operational support to framework and strategy planning of CVM (Customer Value Management) and Segmentation. The Expert will be executing customer centric programs based on analysis of business performance by interpreting data and generate insights which can deliver significant improvement opportunities for engaging and retaining Wave Pay users.

II. Key Result Areas

  • Working as an integral part of the Acquisition & Growth team, analyze Business Performance to generate insights to improve performance and customer value creation
  • Identify, collect, analyze, and interpret data sets based on business requirements and generate descriptive visualizations and presentations to communicate insights, as needed
  • Develop presentations to communicate insights garnered from data
  • Synthesize data to make meaningful recommendations and to create framework of CVM and customer segmentation. 
  • Based on the user behavior analysis build segmentation/ cohorts for executing promotional programs that would lead to high user engagement & retention.
  • Lead the conceptualization and execution of ad-hoc reports during campaigns and postmortem
  • Monitor competitive environment and make recommendations

III. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • To facilitate planning for all CLM and CVM initiatives (Customer Life Circle Management & Customer Value Management)
  • Work on preparation of CVM budget and align the respective stakeholders.
  • Post approval of budget support growth & retention stakeholders with day-to-day program management
  • Work alongside with multiple cross-functional stakeholders internally for understanding of business direction and objectives
  • Campaign analytics to support engagement & retention initiatives
  • Segmentation support for growth and retention initiatives
  • Facilitate the daily operations for the vertical by working closely with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Project Management: Effectively manage projects related to the program


•    5 years of experience in Business Analysis within Payments, Banking or Mobile Financial Services or similar industries  
Education and qualifications: 

  • University degree in Technology, Computer Science, Economics, International Relations, Business Administration and Management or other relevant fields. 
  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience in handling of web-based management systems and advanced program for data analysis

Functional skills and knowledge areas:

  • Working knowledge of Advanced MS Office - especially Excel, Access 
  • Knowledge of SQL, R, Python etc. would be a plus
  • Prior experience on digital tools, such as SAS, Mixpanel, Appsflyer, Adjust, Leanplum, Clevertap etc. would be a big plus
  • Similar experience in managing CVM/ CLM programs would be desirable
  • Digital marketing exposure is desirable
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders would be an advantage 
  • Candidate should drive the overall programs proactively by taking initiatives

Language Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and knowledge of local language (Myanmar)
