Job Description

  • Lead a finance operation team.
  • Supervise the daily finance operations tasks of claim disbursements and premium collection team members.
  • Approve the payments through an accurate reconciliation of the financial records.
  • Manage account payables and receivable activities.
  • Perform the monthly financial closing actions.
  • Oversee daily cash positioning activities and the cash management process, including managing daily liquidity, cash position reconciliation, and bank reporting.
  • Provide liquidity for cases and manage bank accounts to ensure sufficient liquid funds while investing surplus cash.
  • Act as the primary contact with regulators, tax officers, partner banks, and securities in the foreign remittance process, cash management services,and with business managers regarding day-to-day treasury needs.
  • Ensure finance operational activities are executed and delivered as per the standards set by the company.
  • Develop operational initiatives, financial policies, and procedures to achieve financial goals.
  • Conduct a finance audit periodically and recommend improvements.
  • Liaise with the internal and external auditors to conclude audit reports.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned, such as new IFRS standards implementation and finance automations.
  • Complete ad hoc tasks or projects on assignments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or CPA or ACCA part II or III pursuing.
  • 5 years of managerial experience in preparation of accounts or general ledger accounting, financial reporting and finance operation.
  • Familiar with investment transactions and accounting functionalities experience is beneficial, but not a must.
  • Hands on experience of Accounitng Software or ERP/SAP knowledge, Excellent PC skills and familiar with systems automation driven working environment.
  • Solid demonstrated communication skills/stakholders engagement and strong an business analytics and problem solving abilities.
  • Risk control mindset and proactively apply understanding of internal policies.
  • High degree of data accuracy, attention to detail and ability to multi-task and balance multiple requests working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactively taking ownership and responsibility.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
