Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Supervise the day-to-day budget control process
  • Support Head of FP&A in producing monthly management reports and preparation of presentation materials for monthly Management and Board meetings
  • Timely produce monthly variances analysis report with commentaries
  • Facilitate communications between different stakeholders (both internal and external) on behalf of Head of FP&A whenever necessary
  • Formulate and design various management and financial reports for Finance department to align with the reports produced from CBS
  • Support internal stakeholders with evaluations of Cost center’s specific spending, providing monthly Budget vs. Actual reports at cost centre level and taking corrective actions if adjustment is required
  • Train junior staffs in data collection and analysis process
  • Assist Head of FP&A with ad hoc tasks as required

Knowledge & Skills

Essential 

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Thorough understanding of financial statements and related accounting policies
  • Effective business writing and professional communication skills;
  • Adapts easily to new enviornments and can work with a variety of all levels.
  • Self-starter able to work well independently with minimal supervision
  • Manage time effectively and work well under pressure to meet deadline.
  • Internally motivated to seek out   solution, generate ideas, and develop new skills.
  • Ambitious with a strong appetite to understand the products traded to provide insight and analysis.

Education & Special Training

Essential 

  • University degree in accounting / finance / economics
  • ACCA part 3 or equivalent.
  • Excellent PC skills including experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel , Power point

Desirable

  • MBA

Experience

Essential ​​​​​​​

  • 5 years of experience in preparation of financial reports in manager role.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and background, preferably in Financial Services industry.

Languages

Essential ​​​​​​​

  • Sound and effective interpersonal & communication skills in both Myanmar and English languages
