Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing Budget and periodic Forecasts working with various Businesses and Functions 
• Assisting the Head of the department in setting up Funds transfer pricing model
• Perform monthly variance analysis against Budget and back-test Forecast’s accuracy
• Structure Management information reports and provide deep insights for CFO and Management to use for making decisions
• Analyzing Bank’s financials and operating results to better understand bank’s performance and offer recommendation to increase revenue, control costs and improve profitability
• Develop and maintain Metrics dashboards for quick monitoring and reference 
• Assist Head in developing Business and Profitability reports, setting up of cost centers and monitor performance.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and ability to organise and present complex insights lucidly
• Deep understanding of the Balance Sheet and P&L of various businesses in the bank
• Ability to find key financial drivers from historical financial data 
• Quickly elicit key messages from financials and present it persuasively
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and initiate change
• Takes positions on issues and present convincing recommendations
• Good inter-personal skills that helps in developing professional relationships across the bank
• Team player - willing and able to collaborate with associates at all levels
• Self-starter, work independently with minimal supervision
• Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft office, Advance Power Point and Excel skills

Education and Special Training

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business or related field such as Bachelor of Business, Management, Commerce, Finance, Accounting and/or industry specific qualifications
• Studying ACCA part 2 or CIMA is preferred

Experience

• Approximately 7-8 years of experience in finance department.
• Strong accounting knowledge and background, preferably in Financial Services industry.
• Experience in handling Budgets, Forecast and Financial planning & Control is preferred.

Languages

• Working proficiency in Myanmar and English. Confident speaking and writing in English, an advantage.
