Job Description

The position is responsible for handling the delinquent/NPL customers in diplomatic way to collecting the overdue amounts from customers.

  • Good in negotiation and handle the delinquent/NPL customers in diplomatic way to collecting the overdue amounts from customers
  • Manage and lead a team for collecting and recovery from the customers with a sound implementation plan to achieve the goal
  • Manage all risk assets of delinquent borrowers to secure and maximize the return to the Bank
  • Sound knowledge of litigation process and able to handle with legal team request and understand the concept of restructure/reschedule facilities etc.,
  • Accuracy in figures and able to present the status of delinquency/NPL customers together with recovery status & action plans to the HOD
  • Ensure that all delinquent borrowers in NPL portfolio are correctly credit graded/classified and provisioned as per rules & regulations
  • Collaborate with all Branches, Relationship Managers to advise on all aspects of problem loan recognition and report to the management
  • Responsible for leading the NPA Management (Collection Team) and defining short/long term tactical plans of the team
  • Frequently influence others outside the organization with similar objectives to accept new concepts or processes
  • Required to modify existing methods and approaches within own scope/role responsibilities without the benefit of existing procedures, but occasionally affects others area
  • Manage and lead team with deep knowledge of a single area within a function/ broad knowledge of multiple areas within a function
  • Execute other duties and projects as are reasonably required of your job, in order to maintain, promote, develop and expand the bank and its interests

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in any related field
  • Minimum of (5) years experiences in Banking Industry, with at least 3 years in collection/recovery from overdue customers
  • Familiar with the relevant financial regulations, Directives from CBM and other legal framework related to lending business
  • Sound and proven knowledge in financial literacy to analyse the cash flow, nature of business and Industry, and relevant risks of applicants
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the customers
  • Professional attitude and appearance, good communication and public relation, Customer service mindset and attitude
  • Strong problem-solving, managerial and analytical skills; good social and communication skills, coupled with organizational skills.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Able to use MS Office Application
