Job Description

Your Role

  • Report directly to Head of Logistics.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead implementations of the new Contract Logistics/ SCM production system, XSITE, or other continuous improvement projects into operations sites.
  • Manage project timeline, resources and targets for OPEX implementation.
  • Train leadership and shop-floor teams on the new Production System, XSITE.
  • Train and coach site leaders on lean leadership behaviors.
  • Conduct improvement workshops (including Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen).
  • Assess sites against established Contract Logistics / SCM operational system standards.
  • Provide technical/ operational support for site improvement initiatives.
  • Collect and share implementation and operational best practices with our global XSITE community.
  • Continually improve the implementation methodology.
  • Lead HEAL programs for operations teams.
  • Explore productivity and cost improvement opportunities across various departments in Schenker Myanmar or with regional teams
  • Lead the operations site teams in implementing XSITE, or other continuous improvement projects.
  • Manage and develop project plans, execute those plans, ensure that project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Maintain and follow rules, regulations of company, safety & health and environmental rules.

Job Requirements

  • Good practical and trainer knowledge of lean tools, kaizen and lean leadership
  • Ideally Six Sigma (green or black belt) certified
  • Good knowledge of project management methods and techniques
  • Able to set own agenda and work independently
  • Analytical mindset and structured working methods
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in the area of contract logistics
  • Ability to work in an international team
  • Able to travel frequently (domestically)
