Job Description

The People Administration Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all administrative aspects of the People Experience Department, by ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, support the team, and contribute to the overall success of Yoma Bank by fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage enhancing employee experience initiatives by leading the responsible team and collaborating with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the Bank's adherence to labor laws and regulations, including workplace health and safety.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, personnel filing, and database.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality and security of employee data and records.
  • Administer employee benefits programs for improving engagement, such as leave, social engagement programs, well-being and working conditions, in collaboration with operational teams.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including recording and, orientation as well as the offboarding process, including exit interviews and compliance with exit procedures.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely people related payment processes.
  • Generate HR reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights to support HR decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
  • Mediate and resolve disputes, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for HR services.
  • Ensure HR compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Postgrad qualification is a plus).
  • Proven experience in HR administration or operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role or 2 years in a managerial role in Banking and Finance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent language skills in both Myanmar and English.
