Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

Managing and overseeing work of Mechanical & Electrical QS team.
Counting and calculating mechanical and electrical BOQ as per tender project.
Taking off quantities and preparing costing & budget for projects.
Finding the suppliers and to request quotations for getting reliable price.
Searching and meeting good subcontractors for getting estimate.
Making effort to get actual quantity in time and fill the price according to client request specification.
Controlling the budget when doing procurement.
Submitting of progressive claims and variation orders to the client.
Preparing for the submission of variation Orders.
Reviewing and editing M&E related shop drawing.
Supervising in purchasing M&E materials, Quality & Price negotiations.
Checking the exclude and include items and all are estimated following scope of work or not.
Being able to check transportation, tax and other preliminary cost are include or not in their submitted price.
Preparing comparison sheets for subcontractor price and making estimation for cost control.
Creating and preparing contracts, internal PO & PR and also external PO and payment claim according to company procedure and regulation.
Coordinating sometimes with the design teams for M&E drawings.
Handling proficiently with designs, BOQ and construction operations.
Preparing and developing layouts, elevations for M&E sections in construction drawings.
Attending meeting with the clients, subcontractors and suppliers if necessary.

Job Requirements

B.E (Electrical) or B.E (Mechanical).
English intermediate skill (B+).
More than (5) years’ experience as M&E QS Engineer in construction field.
Fluency in using AutoCAD & Revit for M&E Designing.
Basic computer skills (MS office word, excel)
Good communication and team player in the teamwork.
Can work overtime depend on work load. (If needed)
Can work well with less supervision.
Can work well under pressure.
Can work at PJ in Ywarthagyi site area.
The salary will be depended on the applicant's job knowledge and experience.
