Job Description

Responsible for: Planning, creating and executing marketing campaigns that show all the positive activities that take place at the school to existing and potential parents. In addition there is a responsibility to ensure the Principal is fully supported in all aspects of their work including confidential matters.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Marketing
● Manage the schools website.
● Update all the schools social media accounts with posts from the different phases of the school.
● Take photos and videos of various events that take place at the school.
● Ensure that the latest marketing materials are used by everyone.
Personal Assistant (PA)
● Provide efficient administration and secretarial assistance to the Principal.
● Manage the Principal’s diary and time including booking appointments, acting as the ‘gatekeeper’, receiving visitors, providing preparatory support and making travel
arrangements with school drivers.
● Organise meetings & events (internal and external) on behalf of the Principal and take minutes as required.
● Maintain accurate records of senior leadership team (SLT) and staff meetings, distributing agendas, minutes and other relevant documentation as required.
● Liaise with professional bodies, outside agencies, other schools and organisations etc and attend to queries as required by the Principal.
● Bring forward key dates & correspondence for the attention of the Principal, for example, parent/teacher conferences, student photos.
Other Duties
● Establish and maintain good relationships with all students, parents, colleagues and other professionals.
● Attend school events as required and directed by the school Principal.
● Participate in school emergencies as required, including coordinating arrangements, locating students and staff, providing contact details and completing necessary
documentation.
● Attend training sessions and meetings as required.

● Support the Principal in advising the School Trust board and its committees as appropriate
● Working in partnership with the Principal to deliver the ethos and values that underpin the school.
● Supporting the Principal in implementing a School Development Plan that will secure continuous school improvement.
● You may be required to carry out additional duties, as the Principal may reasonably request from time to time.

The Person

The successful candidate will be a motivated and organised person with strong communication skills who can work well as part of a team to deliver the strategic aims of the
school.
The successful candidate will have the following key skills, experience and attributes:
Skills and Experience:
● Relevant Qualifications/Degree.
● Evidence of relevant continuing professional development.
● Good level use of ICT including Microsoft Office and any other MIS systems.
● Working knowledge of Health and safety.
● Knowledge of managing personnel issues.
● Understanding of statutory safeguarding requirements including safer recruitment and child protection. Attributes:
● Be a native level English and Myanmar Speaker.
