Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Exercise independent judgement and review complex claims and seek appropriate advice from senior claims officers where necessary
  • Monitor the claims operational flow in terms of claim turnaround time and meet the claim service standard
  • Provide training on less experienced team members to uplift their knowledge and technical skills
  • Exercise independent judgement and determine insurability for New Business insurance proposals up to approved underwriting authority
  • Solid understanding of common risk factors (such as medical history, occupation hazard and financial background), underwriting policies, guidelines, practices and procedures
  • Participate in underwriting process optimization projects
  • Maintain data accuracy on customer and policyholder records
  • Contact with the panel hospitals to ensure the smooth processing of customers’ medical examination
  • Participate actively in community events and promote the GGINL brand
  • Handle complaints from customers related to the claim payment
  • Assist in preparing management report
  • Meet the claim service standard and turnaround time
  • Maintain data accuracy on customer and policyholder records
  • Do minor medical check up

Job Requirements

  • Medical degree
  • Over 3 years of experience in life and health insurance claim handling or have medical knowledge and skill
  • Knowledge in life insurance products, claim procedure and operations
  • Good analytical, interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
  • Confident decision making skills
