Job Description

About the Job: The Medical Sales Manager, reporting to Head of Marketing, is primary responsible to manage medical channel development in DKT Myanmar by overseeing the medical sales process of the in-house sales team and distributors of all medical products, including Lydia brand. Managing the performance of the distributors is also one of the primary duties for achieving the DKT's business objectives.       

DKT is looking for a skilled professional with strong people management and advanced analytical skill. He/she has to work closely with Medical Marketing Manager, Product Executive, Media and Communications Manager.

 

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Successfully lead the newly formed medical sales team
  • Achieve annual sales targets and coverage targets for medical channel.
  • Design and implement an effective sales strategy and sales plan for DKT products in the medical channel.
  • Build and promote strong customer relationship with all healthcare providers, pharmacies, public health professionals and distribution partners.
  • Present comprehensive sales and revenue reports, and forecasts to the management team
  • Lead and manage the in-house medical sales team, deal with day-to-day issues, and ensure that orders are processed smoothly with distributors.
  • Manage in-house medical sales team by monitoring their performance.
  • Identify key accounts and build corporate relationships to develop a channel for DKT (either a revenue stream or a partnership opportunity)
  • Perform other tasks assigned by direct supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • University Degree in any health-related discipline
  • Master/Professional Diploma in Business Management is preferable.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical sales
  • Must have sales and selling techniques for pharma industry.
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skill.
  • Ability to manage, coach and lead employees for their successful career.
  • Good command of English in both writing and speaking skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office proficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency and accountability is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communications & presentation skills
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally if needed. 
  • Knowledge of Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and Contraception is preferable.
