Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for creating, designing reports from various systems and analyze the results for the management team, and business unit heads for their decision-making. The role holder is also responsible for communicating and presenting analytical findings to the management team. This must be done on a regular basis in order to stay caught up on recent information. The role holder is also responsible for supporting the bank’s strategies and initiatives to provide an effective and engaging digital customer on boarding experience, expand the agent and merchant networks, and drive the usage of mobile and digital applications, in order to achieve economic and social development in Myanmar through nation-wide financial inclusion.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and assist to execute the Value Centre’s business plans for structuring highly relevant and innovative financial solutions to deepen account adoption and to reach more customers at lower cost, in line with the overall bank’s strategy of driving nation-wide financial inclusion
  • Implement and analyze data to create daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Research and analyze actionable data to the senior management to enable proactive business decisions and/or react quickly to the changing business environment
  • Collate and maintain data from various systems and reach out to users, if needed in order to incorporate them in various reports to be used for decision making
  • Provide robust data usage and analytics reports to the appropriate leaders in management.
  • Perform regular data quality checks to ensure all reported information is accurate and relevant.
  • Maintain a running database for all the data collated and refresh the same on timely basis
  • Identify process improvements to streamline date collection and report generation
  • Carry out any other duties/projects which may rise and assigned by Supervisor from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in a related discipline or other relevant qualifications
  • Highly motivated, strong creativity and good analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, team oriented
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in MIS credit and reporting analyst (or) software development role
  • Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and SQL to build various kinds of reporting
