Job Description

  • Oversee and manage departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources.
  • Develop and implement a robust sales force effectiveness framework to govern all sales force effectiveness activities.
  • Initiate and demonstrate business opportunities for sales incremental in MT Equip with updated market information in view of current MT landscape in country.
  • Oversee the development, execution and monitoring of sales force effectiveness plans and initiatives to drive sales growth and sales force productivity.
  • Lead development and implementation of processes, tools and systems (e.g. customer relationship management, key account management system) to support sales activities. Drive active usage of key account management program to monitor interactions with current and future customers, manage customer data and direct segmentation/targeting, etc.
  • Formulate and implement a training framework for the integrated development of the sales force.
  • Conduct training and initiate enhancements to training framework/programs.
  • Collaborate with other functional departments to ensure strong service level & healthy AR.
  • Oversee the implementation of a robust reporting platform that caters to internal sales reporting requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement of sales force effectiveness framework, plans, training, processes, tools, systems and reporting to effectively support sales teams.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to anticipate their needs and customize solutions that will increase their effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with external vendors to ensure sustainability of services provided.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge in the general principles of sales; Familiarity with the sales environment is a must.
  • Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Degree or professional qualification in Business Studies/Marketing/Economics or a related discipline.
  • Minimum three to five years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum two to three years’ experience in a managerial capacity.
  • Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken).
  • 50% in Travel.
