Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

  1. Establish Sales Forecast and Sales Targets for national team
  2. Lead, guide and coach a team of sales Managers, Supervisors, Sales Representatives (SRs) and other sales personnel to maximize sales volume
  3. Track and review team hit rate for each SKU based on the planned customer visits
  4. Coach and guide team to improve product selling skills, especially for new products
  5. Identify new customer who may not be included existing route plans (new distribution gains) Record customers information and attempts sell in.
  6. Conduct proper planning of team activities, ensure all tools are available for team members to perform their jobs and provide solutions to day issues to day to day issues relating to operations of the team
  7. Communicate to team all trade programs and ensure team understanding of the trade program principles by conducting proper meeting /briefing sessions. Monitor execution of the trade programs by team to ensure executional excellence. Conduct random audit checks on SRs and Sales Supervisor to ensure strict adherence to stipulated guidelines during this period.
  8. Establish business plans towards achieving set National KPIs.
  9. Review and approve National Distribution Coverage Plan to achieve the targeted coverage target
  10. Develop and execute plans to achieve of Operational and Sales KPIs (numeric distribution, weighted distribution ,call frequency , strike rate , product penetration , share of market for sell
  11. In reloads / packs etc )

  12. Train and develop a competent and effective team of supervisors and SRs that serve the trade at the desired service and sales level of proficiency. Minimum 2 OJT sessions with each supervisor and SR in a month, supported by completed OJT forms
  13. Ensure stock adequacy across all branch offices as well as in trade
  14. Provide regular statistic reporting to CEO, highlight weakness / opportunities for improvement and
  15. share planned actions to remedy weakness /seize opportunities

Job Requirements

  • Minimum a degree holder in marketing, economics, business administration.
  • Minimum 12 years of working experience in the FMCG or distribution companies before
  • Has proven work experience as a National Sales Manager or senior management role
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English 
  • Advanced management and leadership skills
  • Advanced territory management ability
  • Product knowledge
  • Good computer proficiency (Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel)
