  • Respond immediately to calls from patients for assistance or treatment and alert medical staff to pending emergency situations
  • Ensure all patients are given safe and high quality perioperative care.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by the Management and Superior.
  • Give an accurate and thorough nursing report and computer literacy.
  • Communicate with all staff, patients, and families with excellent written and verbal skills.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred) and valid nursing license.
  • Ability to check all medical equipment, surgical instruments are in good working conditions and to report if they are faulty to the superior.
  • Understand the sterilization of all surgical instruments follows the correct sterilization guidelines and their storage and usage as per the organization SOP.
  • Well knowledge in all surgical supplies, equipment, instruments in the OT and maintained drugs for surgeries are available and are within the expiry date.
