ROLE PURPOSE

To operate of Trade Finance (Import/Export & Bank Guarantee) in accordance with the SOP and other Trade related International Banking Standard.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate the centralized Trade Finance Operation Activities such as Import/ Export transactions and Bank Guarantee.
  • Check Bill schedule of Import/Export of Bills processed and prepare for payment.
  • Responsible for sales and non-sales section, various guarantees demand and different characteristics in the guarantee scenario.
  • Responsible for the guarantee management, including daily processing issuance, reception, amend, cancellation and release.
  • Implement objective policies & procedure manual and user manual for Trade Finance operations.
  • This role requires both technical and process knowhow knowledge of complex practices and procedure.
  • Ensure the processes are smoothly and error freely transacted in Trade Innovative (TI) system.
  • Ensure proper check and balance approach for Trade Finance process.
  • Ensure that all transaction processing is in compliant with regulatory and bank policies, procedure, and standard with prompt intervention to resolve, report problem concern area to Operation Manager and/or Head of Department.
  • Prepare regular report and analysis for senior management
  • Demonstrate knowledge of customer needs through appropriate business analysis and questioning
  • Coaching team members to develop banking knowledge
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistency across the team
  • Translate customer information into compelling, fact-based credit submissions
  • Identifying opportunities to meet holistic banking needs of customers

Education & Special Training

Essential

  • Bachelor of Business, Management & Commerce.
  • Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or Industry specific qualifications.
  • Basic competency in Computer (MS Office-Excel, Word) and E Mail.
  • Trade related training will be a plus.

Desirable

  • CITF/CDCS/CSDG

Experience

Essential

  • At lease (3) years of related Trade management experience within the retail bank with progressive management experience

Desirable

  • Experience in Banking sector is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Essential

  • Processes good Interpersonal, communicational, and operational skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and capable to solve problem
  • Maintain high level of professionalism.

Languages

Essential

  • Sound and effective interpersonal & communication in both Myanmar and English Languages.
