Job Description

A Fantastic Opportunity for ...

  • Responsible to supervise and authorize cash and customer transactions at the Teller counters
  • Supervising and authorize in compliance with regulatory guidelines all non-cash transactions such as fund transfer, fees reversal, customer information changes etc
  • Monthly AML meeting is conducted and all AML circulars & policies are discussed with all branch staff
  • Timely sending of complete and correct reports & statements to internal/external customers
  • Ensuring the compliance of Dormant Account Policy
  • Assist Branch Manager for managing the premises upkeep, controls, process and expenses at the branch, ensuring appropriate look and feel of the Branch/On site ATM premises (including Regulatory and statutory displays)
  • Find the operational weak areas and non-compliance practices in the branch
  • Monitoring the Vault & Cash Transit Limit of the branch & ensure that the excess amount (if any) has been taken
  • Conducts unannounced audits of all branch cash funds and cash limits; ensures the branch is in compliance with established Bank policies, procedures and Central Bank of Myanmar regulations

Job Requirements

  • Degree in B.com or any degree
  • MBA is preferable
  • At least 5 years or working experience in the banking industries
  • Organized and Result Driven
  • Courageous & Respectful
  • Sound knowledge on General Banking, Myanmar Bank Reporting, Branch Compliance and Audit issues
  • Having mentality to work in a team with excellent communication and interpersonal skill
  • Highly analytical and strong monitoring ability
  • Must be able to work with Microsoft Office applications
  • Possess reporting skills with accuracy & submitting on time
  • Have strong decision-making and problem-solving capability
