Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

Migration from Awba to Mahamate

  • Plan and prepare to take over Awba’s existing fixed assets, employees, stock and invoices by working together with different Awba departments
  • Settle and clear the exact lists of all handover items and figures by entering into the agreement between Awba and Mahamate
  • Supervise Mahamate Outlet manpower to collect Awba’s outstanding invoices, review and track all the payments and invoices
  • Monitor the Awba outstanding invoice collection and process to transfer all the collection back to Awba and MAI
  • Communicate and seek respective officials’ approvals for writing off all the bad debt customers

 

Pricing

  • Cooperate with regional Awba Marketing team and determine the most competitive regional prices
  • Analyze market trends in consultation with Supervisors and propose necessary price changes to Awba and MAI
  • Develop pricing strategy in consultation with Supervisors in order to incentivize VIP customers, and seek CEO’s permission to establish special offers/arrangements for M-Dealers as required
  • Evaluate pricing per outlet continuously and introduce any necessary plan changes to exceed market and M-Dealers’ needsPayments to Vendors
  • Review purchase behavior of customers per outlet, consult with Store Supervisors and set the payment strategy accordingly
  • Track cash positions of each outlet continuously and make strategic payment decisions (either COD or Credit Payments) in order to ensure the highest P&L possible and avoid any loss or late penalties
  • Seek vendors’ advise/permission and communicate effectively with vendors’ Account Department if any payment adjustments are required
  • Process payments in a timely and accurate manner, together with Mahamate Accounting Team

 

M-Dealer Payment Tracking

  • Review and track continuously M-Dealers’ payments in the system and identify late or incorrect payments
  • Supervise outlet staff to develop good collection system and to avoid any late or incorrect payments
  • Pay attention to Supervisors’ proposals on required payment adjustments for special M-Dealers, and seek CEO’s permission to agree to the adjustments

 

Employee Management

  • Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, supervise and discipline outlet staff
  • Communicate Mahamate’s vision, strategy and HR policy very clearly to all Mahamate employees
  • Inform job expectations with all outlet staff and continuously monitor, appraise and review their job contributions
  • Appraise or incentivize top performers’ talents and contributions and propose to increase their employee benefits
  • Develop great and close working relationships among Headquarter and outlet staff
  • Propose to take necessary disciplinary actions to staff who do not adhere to overall Mahamate policy and disciplines

 

Monitoring Stock Management

  • Develop annual sale forecast for outlets in consultation with Awba team with reference to historical sales data, market trends, weather and crop information
  • Review and revise monthly forecast in consultation with Outlet Supervisors as required
  • Review sales order requested by Supervisors, process sales orders to Awba/MAI Order Department and ensure that deliveries are done in an accurate and timely manner
  • Monitor monthly ground stock checks, inspect for the loss, irregular or expired items, and take actions accordingly
  • Facilitate the flow of stock planning, ordering and selling to enable the most efficient process and to create sales increase

 

Budgeting

  • Propose and plan annual and monthly expenditure budget for all outlet expense items
  • Review and monitor all the spending and supervise Assistant Operations Manager to review the expenses
  • Identify any variances or over-spending, inspect and take corrective actions accordingly
  1. Marketing Strategy
  • Facilitate Supervisors to develop M-Dealer acquisition plans, M-Dealer Relationship plans and revised sales forecast quarterly and establish best-suited marketing strategy and activities accordingly
  • Review the budget and plan of those activities and propose required suggestions to ensure maximum benefits
  • Monitor and support in implementing the established activities, and communicate to seek Awba’s support if necessary
  • Analyze the implemented activities and prepare to improve upcoming activities

 

 Reporting

  • Collect sales data, analyze and prepare monthly sales report, describing sales increase or decrease factors
  • Facilitate Mahamate Accountant to prepare monthly GCEO report
  • Capture market/M-Dealers data and trends on a regular basis and report to CEO and team as required
  • Obtain any disturbing or pressing market trends information, review and analyze (seek Awba team’s confirmation as required), develop strategic solutions to address the issues, and report to CEO and team
  • Implement strategic solutions in a timely manner in order to tackle market issues effectively
  1. Cooperation between Awba and Mahamate
  • Facilitate the cooperation between Awba and Mahamate staff to produce the best benefits for all parties; Awba, Mahamate and customers
  • Propose to Awba/MAI for any necessary updates and consequently, listen to Awba/MAI’s advises to improve the relationship and work efficiency

New Business Opportunities 

  • Work under CEO’s guidelines and explore new business opportunities (especially agriculture-related business) in Mahamate outlet areas
  • Conduct market research together with Outlet Mahamate staff to gather market potentials and sizes
  • Meet with a variety of vendors and select the one which best aligns with Mahamate’s strategy and vision, share strategy, procedures and system for partnership and reach agreement between Mahamate and the selected company
  • Initiate pilot projects in Mahamate areas and identify the actual market demands and trends, and make further discussions to proceed the business partnership

 

Working with ERP System : (Upgrading and Adding New Service in ERP System)

    • Plan and prepare required information input to the system to provide the exactly correct information
    • Seek the Project Manager’s advise on required changes or updates in the system
    • Work with PM to introduce new features or functions in the system
    • Facilitate between System Support Person and outlet staff to fix any problems

     

    Overall Operations System/Policy

    • Review constantly the workflow of the whole operations and identify any necessary updates or changes
    • Propose workflow updates to other OMs and CEOs to increase efficiency and effectiveness
    • Evaluate the changes and analyze the results to ensure its compatibility with the organization

    Job Requirements

    • Any Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in business management or relevant graduation
    • Minimum 3 years working experience in Senior Management Level
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales and Operations sector
    • Business English is a must
    • Plaining, reporting and Sales Analytical skill strongly
    • Strong Monitoring, evaluating and negotiation is necessary
    • Attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Good in time and Time management skill
    • Skilled in identifying problems and problems solving
    • Can be Travel around to states and regions is preferable
    • Proficiency in using computer (word, advance Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Email).
