Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials for IGCSE Chinese Language courses.
• Teach the Cambridge IGCSE Chinese Language curriculum and prepare students for IGCSE examinations.
• Provide instruction in a variety of formats including lectures, discussions, and group projects.
• Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
• Keep accurate records of student grades, attendance, and performance.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and performance.
• Participate in departmental and school-wide meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to promote academic excellence.
• Participate in professional development programs deemed appropriate by the school.

   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language,language Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Chinese Language.
• Familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE Chinese Language curriculum and assessment.
• Strong command of the Chinese & English languages, both spoken and written.
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
