  1. Dispensing Medications: Accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions, ensuring the correct dosage, labeling, and instructions are provided to patients. Maintain proper inventory control and storage of medications.

  2. Patient Counseling: Offer comprehensive medication counseling to patients, including explaining the purpose, possible side effects, and proper usage of medications. Address any questions or concerns raised by patients regarding their medications.

  3. Medication Management: Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, checking for potential drug interactions or contraindications. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication therapy outcomes.

  4. Pharmaceutical Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest developments in pharmaceuticals, drug therapy, and healthcare regulations. Maintain a thorough understanding of drug information resources and utilize them to provide evidence-based recommendations.

  5. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines related to the practice of pharmacy. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Promote medication safety and contribute to the prevention of medication errors.

  6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and technicians, to ensure coordinated patient care. Provide drug information and participate in interdisciplinary discussions regarding patient treatment plans.

  7. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, such as medication utilization reviews, drug utilization evaluations, and medication safety programs. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care.

  8. Administrative Tasks: Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications, and maintaining proper storage conditions. Complete necessary documentation and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • B.Pharm 
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, pharmacokinetics, and drug interactions.
