Job Title: Primary Physical Education Teacher

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Yangon’s first British International school as part of our dynamic PE team. 

You do not need prior experience in this role, but will have  good English communication skills and be passionate about getting students active, healthy and  involved in sports. The role is suitable for both male and female applicants.

The successful candidate will be able to:

• Support the International PE teacher and Associate Teacher  with primary PE lessons across the day. This may include supporting small groups of students in a range of activities.

• Monitor student behaviour, ensuring all children are actively involved in lessons.

• Provide clear instructions and feedback to students to support them in making progress.

• Setup and pack away equipment needed for PE lessons.

• Maintain school PE equipment to a high standard.

• Run extra-curricular activities throughout the year such as football, cricket, benchball etc. 

• Work closely with the PE team to plan and review lesson and assessment opportunities. 

• Take part in continuous professional development sessions and staff meetings as required.
