Lead planning and procurement team
Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
Closely monitor the actual production daily against production plans and the progress of actual sales order booking daily against the agreed demand plan
Ensure raw materials and packaging materials are keeping optimum inventory level at suitable quantities and timing
Develop Procurement Policy and Procurement Guideline with controlling
Develop local operations strategy and work Instruction for Indirect material for manufacturing supply, Engineering, Marketing and General services to be aligned with OSP sourcing strategy and policy
Developing sound, cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials used in the business
Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries
Create and maintain good relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
Ensure the products and services purchased are in high quality/specification
Work closely with the company legal team to make sure contracts and terms are favorable
Develop and deliver Procurement sourcing strategy and supplier partnership for cost effectiveness, better quality, services and innovation
Perform material budgeting, forecasting, trend analysis and controlling
Provide tools for process improvement and collaboration with functional team
Perform other related duties as assigned
