As a core component of KBZ Bank Analytics centre of excellence (ACE) team, leadership role in power user stream, the role holder is accountable for developing KBZ banks capability in the area of insights building and fulfillment of ad-hoc information for day to day decision making by business. • Owner of the strategic integration of various streams of data along with IT organization. Explore and analyse any and all available data to influence future projects and initiatives.
• First line of interfacing of data and analytics team with business as well as IT organization. Partner with business stakeholders in products, marketing, operations and other banking functions and support in building our analytical data platforms and infrastructure.
• Be a resource and advocate for data within the organization by teaching and empowering others to use data.
• Generate data insights for commercial consumption and develop library of commercial insights which can be deployed by BI / data science teams in their respective areas.
• Translate business needs to technical specifications involving the fast testing on non-systematic data / new data sources and existing data ecosystem.
• Prototype / create business requirement document.
• Automation and digitization of information dashboards.
• Supporting the technical lead in alignment of BI and data science team’s requirement towards underlying data sources (data infra.) to allow quick and efficient data extracts to support analysis, dashboard development or data science use cases.
• Participate in the development of strategies, operating models, roadmaps and business cases for Analytics and BI solutions
• Co-develop and implement strategies to support ongoing data management needs, such as governance, technology shifts, and regulatory compliance changes.
• Hire, train, and supervise power users’ team and ensure that team meets the reporting and analytical needs of the business users.
• Supporting development of analytics roadmap along with BI team and data science team.
• Hire, train and deploy high potential local talent in the area of power user community.

• Degree in numerical stream (Science, Engineering) with preferred business qualification.
• 5 Year + professional experience in supporting businesses with large and complex data legacy and dependency on data insights, data analysis and dashboard development.
• A SQL expert, with mastery in writing efficient and re-useable codes and have QA’s and optimized other people’s queries. (Mandatory)
• Desirable in open source data scripting and analysis tools such as Python (Desirable).
• Understanding of banking domain (Desirable).
