Duties and Responsibilities 

• Supervise oversee functions related to Procurement across the country 

Administration 

• In collaboration with the Financial Controller, develop, establish and enforce procurement policies and procedures across the country 

• Communicate the value of strategic sourcing and procurement to portfolio business stakeholders 

• Evaluate, select and implement a comprehensive procurement software  

• Work with various portfolio businesses to understand their needs before devising solutions 

Sourcing 

• Evaluate suppliers by qualifying their capabilities and offerings and performing risk assessments to determine their ability to comply with corporate policies and governmental regulations 

• Make short-listed recommendations to the Financial Controller and implement the selection of the chosen supplier 

• Negotiate contract terms by maintaining leverage until complete satisfaction of the good or service and favorable conditions and discounts are provided 

• Contract with the supplier to protect the Group’s interests.  When needed, discuss with General Counsel 

• In collaboration with the Financial Controller, design, implement, enforce and review a policy to identify and onboard new vendors 

Purchasing & Supply Chain Management 

• Approve and process purchase orders, track the status and ensure the receipt of the orders, record the assets and follow up on payment 

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise 

• Coordinate with the relevant parties to determine and manage inventory needs 

• Manage the maintenance of office equipment and machinery 

• Build and manage long-term relationships with suppliers 

While the above includes a description of the essential functions of the position, other duties aligning with short- and long-term goals within the Finance department may be assigned. These tasks would largely be with the “Financial Planning and Analysis” teams within each portfolio business working closely with the respective CEOs and leaders of the organization and could include, but not be limited to: 

• Financial Analysis 

• Forecasting, Budgeting & Planning 

• Management Reporting 

• Decision Support 

• Cost Modeling 

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration 
• 5+ years of experience managing supply chain operations with a portion in a supervisory role 
• Fluent in English 
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing and negotiating 

• Extremely organized and attentive to detail 

• A very strong moral compass and the highest level of integrity 

• Strong with numbers 

• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) software systems
