  • Guide and provide procurement/sourcing related strategic and operational support and guidance to the organization
  • Lead the development and implementation of procurement policies and system strategies to support tendering, contracts management, spend analytics and supplier performance management
  • Drive continuous improvement, best value and quality improvements within the team and departments in challenging existing practices and actively seek ways to achieve better outcomes, contributing to ensure key performance
  • Report to the Head of Admin and respective committees as may be required from time to time to provide up to date status reports on procurement to include development, demonstrate value for money and compliance to regulatory procurement requirements,
  • Ensure all aspects of regulatory compliance are adhered to in regard to the respective Procurement Policies and external requirements procedures and implement strategies
  • Develop excellent and effective collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and external providers and other agencies to ensure strategic and operational needs are fully understood and incorporated
  • Lead and motivate staff and ensure that they receive appropriate support, training and development to achieve their potential
  • Undertake other duties not specifically stated which from time to time are necessary without altering the nature or level of responsibility.
  • Facilitate development of relationship with existing and potential suppliers
  • Conduct supplier analysis based on price/quality positioning
  • Research potential vendors for all business requirements
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
  • Prepare the budget for the cost and will be responsible to deliver within the budget amount
  • Maintain internal records and databases for Vendors, prices, purchase history, invoicing etc
  • Execute other duties and projects as are reasonably required of your job, in order to maintain, promote, develop and expand the bank and its interests

Job Requirements

  • Any Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in Procurement Field or any related management experience 
  • Possess Up-to-date knowledge with industry purchase trends, price benchmarking, and business tools / technologies.
  • Experience of implementing best practice contract and supplier management
  • Great networking and liaison skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Strong working knowledge of procurement processes
  • High level of Understanding for both Services & Markets.
  • Strong Time Management and Organizational skills
  • Well-developed and sound decision and negotiation Skills
