Job Description

The role holder is accountable for assisting the delivery of New Products & Process enhancement and also responsible in assistance of innovative products and solutions that are geared towards client needs in order to differentiate products and solutions from competitor’s offerings and contribute to revenue growth. The role holder is also responsible for supporting the bank’s strategies and initiatives to provide an effective and engaging digital customer on boarding experience, expand the agent and merchant networks, and drive the usage of mobile and digital applications, in order to achieve economic and social development in Myanmar through nation-wide financial inclusion.

  • Assist and support to execute the Value Centre’s business plans for structuring highly relevant and innovative financial product solutions to deepen account adoption and to reach more customers at lower cost, in line with the overall bank’s strategy of driving nation-wide.
  • Conduct the roll-out of new products and services to ensure the delivery of an exceptional end-to-end product journey for the clients – across deposit, wealth/affluent and debit/prepaid & eCommerce.
  • Ownership for development and ongoing updation of product program (NPP), and standard operating procedures (SOP) and clear identification of all product and process risks and mitigants.
  • Periodic review of all product programs and performance against set business deliverables, customer experience and risk parameters.
  • Assess potential risk from all perspectives of business, actively manage risk assessment by working with Risk management team and all relevant stakeholders.
  • Design and produce reporting and analytics for product suite.
  • Assisting to roll out or project implementation or product enhancement with Technology, Finance, Legal and/or other internal functions (as needed) in order to drive the business required results.
  • Maintains strong internal relations and capitalizes on cross-selling opportunities through collaborating with other Value Centers to meet a diverse range of customer needs and expectations.
  • Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices based on leading practices to boost processes and productivity and to deliver exceptional service standards.
  • Deliver the overall intended client experience and business results, including acquisition, growth and retention of a client portfolio.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders by gaining an understanding of clients' unique financial goals. Builds strong relationships with partners and the branches.
  • Incumbent has the ability to effectively present investment strategies to clients and maintains a holistic approach to planning.
  • Conduct analyses to understand business drivers and identify opportunities to improve results.
  • Have very strong project management skills including project software familiarity, task scheduling, powerpoint presentations, support for business case & NPP completion, disciplined program work records and an understanding of basic project financials.
  • Carry out any other duties/projects which may rise and assigned by Supervisor from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • 5 Year related experience in Banking products. 
  • Master degree. 
  • Consulting background of 3 years with retail banking related consulting experience.
  • English language 4 skills are a must.
