ROLE PURPOSE

Yoma Bank’s Products, Services, and Channels Division is responsible for developing and managing the bank’s financial services products, services and digital channels. We are inspired by building financial services that put our customers at the center.

Our Cards Department will deliver and manage a relevant and innovative suite of card products and services for our customers. We are seeking an experienced Cards Product Manager who will play a key role in the success and timely launch of these products, with a focus on the credit card product suite. The Cards Product Manager will drive the execution of the product roadmap by supporting the end-to-end product management life cycle. The individual will be the subject matter expert on features and customer value proposition for credit cards and other card products that address customers’ existing and emerging needs.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the market landscape, show curiosity by seeking out market and customer insights, and seek to translate these into product opportunities.
  • Develop strong differentiating CVP for credit card products, informed by business intelligence
  • Drive end-to-end product management lifecycle
  • Perform analysis and provide data-informed input into the product road map, develop product features, write clear, concise and comprehensive functional requirements, and coordinate project management and implementation activities.
  • Drive analysis, modeling and make recommendations for product pricing.
  • Contribute product expertise and collaborate effectively with other Cards Product Managers as well as key stakeholders in Business, Technology, Operations, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Work effectively with card scheme partner and resources to achieve key milestones.
  • Keep Head of Cards and other stakeholders well-informed of project progress, issues, risks, and product performance.
  • Consistently drive towards achieving key performance indicators and targets.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to quickly gather, analyze and synthesize information.
  • Experience in translating customer needs to card product features and business requirements.
  • Detail-oriented and a motivated self-starter with ability to perform tasks with limited guidance and in an efficient and timely manner as an individual and in a team environment
  • Ability to proactively identify product opportunities that arise related to business trends and market developments.
  • Experience working effectively across functional areas.
  • Strong project management skills, including ability to manage various tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines, while providing high quality products.
  • Can-do attitude, willingness to learn and listen, ability to work independently, and strong drive to get things done.
  • Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
  • Achieve deadlines and perform under high pressure situations
  • 3-5+ years of experience in product management in retail banking with a focus on cards.
  • Experience working with international card schemes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to express ideas in a clear and concise manner to different audiences.
