Job Description

Reporting to VCGM, the role holder is responsible for translating our high-level strategic vision & business requirements into a digital-centric product roadmap and leading its execution. As a Product Manager, you’ll deliver operational excellence and change management to initiate and prioritize project plans. You will have ultimate accountability for the success of our product, with accountability for product performance. This role will work closely with a cross-functional team of category specialists, business partners, developers and external partners in an agile environment to advance our digital roadmap for our readers and potential content creators.

  • Champion effective planning across all the stakeholders including developers, business development and category teams
  • Drive change management best practices along with business transformational change to all stakeholders
  • Manage operational aspect of the product in terms of performance and user experience while working closely with business development and category specialists
  • Deliver business requirements in translation to technical requirements while working with inhouse and third-party developers in implementing new functional rollouts.
  • Maintain user manuals and processes
  • Develop and improve Product from the functionality aspect to value add both partners and users including pay advertising, search engine and categorization.
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators to optimize performance of the product including response time, search optimization and up-time management 
  • Owns, develops and executes product vision, product strategy and roadmap for official account. Ensure a fine user experience that delivers the business goals.
  • Defines end-to-end user experiences and leads development of new features from concept to launch through the entire digital product design life cycle from user research and ideation to prototyping to readiness planning.
  • Plan and deliver key communication in terms of technology, service, risk management, operations, marketing and product teams to lead the entire lifecycle of the experiences.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years related experience required
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, marketing and social media
  • Experience in business planning, business IT and software management
  • Strong communication in English and Burmese
  • Strong problem-solving and decision making skills with ability to effectively communicate with senior managers
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong collaborative business relationships
  • Proven ability to negotiate and apply skills to exercise influence over others decisions without express authority and influence change
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and building project plans and presentations
  • Ability to think both tactically and strategically moving through both fluidly
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Experience in related fields of public relations and mass communication.
