Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Product Manager (PM) for Branch Channels provides crucial support to the Head of Branch Channels.
  • The PM drives the development of the tools required for the Branch Channel strategy e.g. a branch profitability model, determining the footprint of each branch and deriving a geographic distribution strategy.
  • The PM is also responsible for determining the branch service and delivery strategy which includes a vision on product delivery through the branches. And PM is to assist in establishing the Branch Appearance guidelines.
  • Furthermore, PM is to drive the vision and creation of Branch support services including the ownership of Queuematic and Mystery Shopping.
  • A deep understanding of our branches and project management skills are essential skills for this role.
  • Furthermore, excellent presentation and communication skills are essential.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Experience in execution of product creation functions and roles
  • Knowledge and experience in banking or other financial services organizations and deep understanding of one or more products or services
  • Understanding of Organizational risk including credit, compliance and operational risk and the ability to create mitigants
  • Ability to translate customer needs into products or designs and identify opportunities for additional value-added services
  • Ability to create a roadmap and articulate customer outcome delivery within a timeframe
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and to articulate business - and functional-requirements within a project team

Job Requirements

Education & Special Training

Essential

  • Degree in a Business or related field such as Bachelor of Business, Management, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or industry specific qualifications.
  • Strong functional knowledge of banking products and ability to effectively communicate technical subjects to broader audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to quickly gather, analyze and synthesize information.
  • Ability to manage various tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent competency in computer skills (MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented and a motivated self-starter with ability to perform tasks with limited guidance and in an efficient and timely manner as an individual and in a team environment.
  • Processes good interpersonal, communicational, and operational skills.
  • Maintain high level of professionalism.

Experience

Essential

  • Your education and work experience will need to show that you have the training and professional background for the necessary skills.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and articulate business deals.

Desirable

  • Experience in Banking and/or Financial Services Industry

Languages

Essential

  • Sound and effective interpersonal & communication in both Myanmar and English Languages.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to express ideas in a clear and concise manner to different audiences.
