  • Pursues market for opportunistic purchases.
  • Executes and track purchase orders including returns to vendor (RTVs)
  • Secures the best deals possible available in the market in product category
  • Completes competitor, market, sales, contract and pricing analysis
  • Collaborates with distribution, marketing, social and customer service teams
  • Coordinating with appropriate parties (e.g. Marketing) to help drive sales within their portfolio
  • Reviews supplier and portfolio performance
  • Creates and manages merchandise assortment that meets the needs of the portfolio and organization
  • Utilizes the different sales channels available to drive sales in their portfolio
  • Coordinating with appropriate parties (e.g. Marketing) to help drive sales within their portfolio
  • Identify and respond appropriately to various problems, to ensure that current issues are efficiently dealt with to support operational excellence
  • Identify risks, and decide on approach, methodologies, techniques to be used to complete tasks
  • Continuously update oneself with changes in related business and market trends
  • Collaborate with other functions/teams to facilitate analysis and identify process improvement/cost reduction opportunities
  •  Be accountable for other certain works as assigned from immediate superior level

Job Requirements

  • Degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Experience as a purchaser 
  • Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
  • Supervisory and management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
