Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Provide onsite visual inspection and/or observation for construction quality control
Develop and enforce robust QA/QC processes and standards to enable efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide trainings to ensure awareness of quality procedures and specific responsibilities in the QA/QC process.
Audit QA/QC activities of staffs and subcontractors to assess conformance with the QA/QC procedures.
Develop and evaluate KPIs for QA/QC department and all QA/QC staffs based on project KPIs and objectives.
Conduct random site visits and visual inspections to monitor and control to ensure that site activities are done by proper workmanship and in line with approved documents and specifications.
Review and prepare mix-design for sub-ballast and other backfilling materials.
Conduct daily/weekly meetings with main contractors and internal staffs in order to discuss quality related issues and find out optimal solutions.
Coordinate with main contractor’s and the engineer’s QA/QC personnel to make sure that construction activities are compliance with required quality standards and specifications to achieve client satisfaction.
Audit the workmanship of subcontractors and suppliers, and report to the top management for decision support.
Recommend and verify corrective and preventive actions for project non-conformances and quality issues.
Responsible for lab and field testing equipment are well maintained and calibrated according to the specifications and standard procedures.
Coordinate with AEM in developing of Project Quality Plan, method of statements (MST), inspections test plans (ITP), inspection checklist, request for approval (RFA) for material and supplier and other quality related document.
Perform quality review of documents from main contractors and subcontractors to access workability and compliance with QA/QC procedures.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports and submit to top management and H.O QA/QC department.
Responsible for all QA/QC documents are properly documented and submitted to all related parties in timely manner.
Review inspections reports and provide feed backs.
Perform statistical analysis of QA/QC inspections and develop Quality Assurance Matrix for continuous improvement of quality.
Prepare and submit document to TC to get official approval from CMC for materials and suppliers.
Responsible for all delivered materials which will be used in final products are inspected, tested, documented and are compliance with approved requirements and specifications.
Prepare sample taking and testing plan for materials (if necessary).
Coordinate with office support and procurement departments to make sure that all required approved materials are delivered to site on time.
Conduct random site visits and visual inspections at material suppliers’ production area (if necessary) for monitoring and controlling of quality.

Job Requirements

BE (Civil) with related field experience not less than 7-year (or) AGTI (Civil) with related field experience not less than 10-year
Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization
Exceptional negotiation, leadership and communication skills
Adheres to all workplace health and safety rules & regulations, standards, and practices
Verbal and written communication skill in English
Experience using the Microsoft and Windows Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Auto CAD
