DKT International Myanmar invites applications for the following position in Yangon, Myanmar.

Position:              Regional Sales Manager (Upper Myanmar)

Report To:          Director of Marketing

Duty Station:      Yangon

Closing Date:      as soon as possible

 

About the Job: The main responsibility of this position is to lead the Upper Myanmar Retail Sales team in expanding DKT's coverage and meeting organizational goals. To be successful in this role, he/she must focus on how to maintain sales quality while driving teams to meet their targets. Your track record of remotely managing the sales teams to ensure the effectiveness of each sales call is highly desirable.

Duties/Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Develop regional sales plans and targets in alignment with the organization objectives.
  • Lead the sales teams in various locations by managing daily sales operations in order to meet sales targets.
  • Analyze the sales and market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.
  • Coordinate with the Supply Chain Manager and distributors to ensure the stocks availability and delivery status.
  • Coordinate with the marketing unit in developing the sales and promotional strategies to align with the organization’s objective.
  • Suggest new products and innovative sales techniques.
  • Prepare sales analysis reports monthly, quarterly, and yearly and share it with the Senior Management Team timely.
  • Develop the standard sales operation procedures and enforce the team in application of the sales techniques.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Director in forecasting the sales yearly, quarterly, and monthly and define monthly sales targets for the teams.
  • Get the updated data and information from the market, define the potential impact, and find the way to navigate the solutions promptly.
  • Define all the potential risks in the daily sales operation and manage them accordingly.
  • Identify process’s bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • University Degree in any discipline. (Professional certificate in Sales Operation Management or any other related field is preferred.)
  • Minimum 5 to 6 years’ experience in the same role within an MNC/FMCG/pharmaceutical environment. (Experience in both FMCG and Pharma will be strongly preferred.)
  • Experience with strategic planning and execution with documented business results
  • Sense of ownership and its impact on organization’s success.
  • Have a strong commercial focus and an ability to successfully align with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office frequently (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
  • Good command of written and spoken English is a must.
  • High level of efficiency, accountability and the detail attention is needed.
  • Positive attitude towards sexual health contraceptives and condoms.
