Job Description

The role holder is responsible for facilitating Bank to Bank relationship and maintaining good relationship with counterparty bank all the time.

The role holder is responsible to help for resolving operational issues between banks.

The role holder is responsible to negotiate between internal and counterparty for the best solution of operational flow, project collaboration engagement and fees income.

  • Act as point of contact for establishing and maintaining mutual business relationship with other international and domestic banking counter parties
  • Promote FI related business facilities to other banking counter parties
  • Liaise, organize, manage, attend and report business network meetings and events
  • Resolve FI related day-to-day business operation issues
  • Manage RMA establishment, Annual Reviews, Open/Close of new/existing account
  • Evaluate client’s credit data and financial statement in order to determine the degree of risk involve in lending money to them
  • Analyze Financial and Non-Financial data of counterparties for repayment capabilities
  • Access, analyze and interpret financial status of clients by ratio analysis, trend analysis
  • Responsible for assessing an applicant's credit worthiness
  • Prepare FI Credit Application Form based on above analysis and presenting to Management Credit Committee (or) Board Credit Committee
  • Conduct periodic Counterparty Analysis and Credit Monitoring on Financial Institutions (Annually, Quarterly, etc)
  • Coaching and mentors to junior staff
  • Assist Team Leader to achieve operational goals
  • To act as a good team player
  • Develops relationships matrix to share with Corporate Banking Department
  • Liaises with internal departments (product teams) and learning their functions
  • Perform Ad-hoc duties as assigned by DVCGM/VCGM and Management

Job Requirements

  • Master degree graduated

  • Graduate in Finance/ Business studies or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 year of experience working in similar role in Bank.
  • Able to command in both English and Myanmar.
  • Ability to converse in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent numerical, analytical and problem solving skills.
