Job Description

  • Work with clients to identify opportunities to design and improve their corporate governance, enterprise risk management, internal controls, and internal audit processes
  • Provide internal audit services
  • Drive and support assurance and advisory related services through all phases of the sales and delivery cycle, including lead generation, proposal development, engagement planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow-up processes
  • Participate in practice management and business development activities such as internal initiatives to improve the quality of existing processes and deliverables, develop the capability of our teams, and write thought leadership articles
  • Coach and develop junior staff members
  • Build internal networks and develop client relationships

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business or related disciplines
  • Relevant Professional Qualifications, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) will be prefer
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in the areas of corporate governance, enterprise risk management, internal controls, and/or internal audit. 
  • Experience with a Big 4 firm or reputable professional services / consulting firms will be viewed favourably
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills in both English and Burmese language [For Global Mobility candidates: Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills in English.  Conversant with the Burmese language will be a plus]
  • Strong time and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to follow through and complete tasks within tight deadlines
  • Possess work experience in Myanmar as well as in an overseas market
  • Demonstratable attributes in ability to bring a business perspective, provide insightful solutions, present with impact and empathy, and work in a team setting
  • Candidates should possess a positive attitude, passion and desire to help Myanmar organisations improve or transform to achieve sustainable growth and success
