Job Description

  • To supervise room attendants to achieve the departmental target.
  •  Act in a pleasant, cheerful and courteous way and alert at all times.
  • Follow the telephone courtesy.
  • Has a good understanding of people, genuine interest in housekeeping service and thorough knowledge of guest facilities.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness & tidy up of the assigned tower, guest room, corridor, pantry and service area and make sure that the guest rooms, corridors are clean and fresh smell.
  • Follow up and feedback the complaint and request whether it is done or not.
  • Make sure that the guest room facilities and amenities are maintained as standard.
  • Check all assigned room and status room such as (OC, VC, AE, C/O, OS, OOO), linen per level, the mini-bar, when the guest check out. Fully aware of key security.
  • Update status and room discrepancy in the record and check Front Office with DND room, Show Room. Follow up maintenance request.
  • Check the reservation unit and prepare the unit to handover Front Office and Sales.
  • Check the occupied unit and vacant unit cleaning.
  • Handle the lost and found procedure.
  • Record the damage & missing items of guests’ room. Make sure the replacement of guest room standard amenity.
  • Check room attendant report and maid report for entering guest room time in/out and filing up.
  • Fill up the daily supervisor report. Write room logbook every day. Handover the necessary information to the next shift supervisor.
  • Assign work for unit cleaning to room attendants. Check personal hygiene of room attendant.
  • Make orientation for new staff.
  • Conduct the daily briefing and giving the necessary information to all staff.
  • Attend and participate in departmental meetings when directly assigned by HOD.
  • Carry out work delegated by HOD or asst. HOD.
  • Report accident to HOD or asst. HOD.
  • To perform the other duties assigned by Management.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
  • Good communication and customer contact skills
  • Required to relocate
