Position Purpose / Context  

The RTM Execution Manager delivers value by guaranteeing an outstanding execution of the RTM strategy in a consistent way. The role enables the selling teams and controls operational discipline through clear KBIs and expected outcomes.

The position is responsible to lead new RTM implementations, and after the models are implemented to secure outstanding execution, the role should make available all the relevant market information to results vs potential.     

The position defines the governance processes for the different RTM models management (KO frontliners, distributors, KA, wholesalers and digital).    The role needs to be in constant communication with the sales regions to understand performance, opportunities and issues.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

Outlet information gathering and data base integrity

  • Define with RTM Strategy Manager and RTM BIG processes to gather market info.   Inclusive of innovative Digital Tools (like Mobile Walla, Reply, …) to keep an updated database of all outlets in the Country.
  • Evaluate the quality of the information received from Digital Sources by doing random sampling of the targeted areas and assessing “confidence levels”
  • Segment Outlet Database using Market, consumer and Industry information and Segmentation Policy Cuts in alignment with RTM Strategy and W@POS strategy.

Creation and Execution of optimal Route Planning for Frontliners

  • Adapt the Standard Time and Motion and Customer Service definition processes from BIG to the reality of the country.
  • Run the Time and Motion survey periodically or when the market suffers sudden changes to keep an updated reality of our time spent at the outlets by segment and channel.
  • Keep updated the Outlet Database with accurate GPS coordinates to drive a proper and productive route Planning
  • Using the approved tools (Algorythm, Ortec) run Route Planning optimization periodically to optimize routes as market changes ensuring route productivity and resource efficiency.
  • Monitor compliance to the defined Preseller Journey Plan using data from SFA (Sales Force Automation) databases to trigger corrective actions when needed.

Track and monitor Distributors’ performance and wholesaler complementary role

  • Tracks and monitors distributors’ PnL and its deviation from the plan. Reports the Operating Income and raises deviation s from the plan to RTM Strategy Manager.
  • Tracks and monitors distributors’ operational KBIs and its deviation from the plan. Reports the number of Routes, Days of Inventory, Warehouse Size, On Time in Full Deliveries and Volume/Revenue Achievement and raises deviations to Sales team for correction.
  • Colead with W@POS and GT implementation of the wholesaler engagement strategy and track wholesaler performance

Improve Key Account RTM models

  • Monitor key account models performance: order taking, execution and replenishment of products, considering KPIS for service and cost
  • Collaborate with supply chain and MT for implementation of improvements over the models

Lead RTM Pilot’s Implementation and Roll out of new RTM models

  • Leads implementation of Pilots to test improvements of an effective and efficient RTM strategy, maximizing available resources to achieve full market potential in alignment with BIG.
  • Provide clear direction and guidance to subordinates and RTM team to ensure alignment and successful implementation of RTM initiatives
  • Fills management scorecards to Track pilots and evaluate their outcome
  • Provides feedback to assess when Pilots drive transformational results to expand and deploy changes across the local RTM Models
  • Roll out RTM models in a coordinated way with rest of areas of the company
