  • Supports the Value Centre’s business plans for structuring highly relevant and understands financial solutions to deepen account adoption and to reach more customers at lower cost, in line with the overall bank’s strategy of driving nation-wide financial inclusion.
  • Contributes to overall business strategy formulation in discussions with the DVCGM bringing to bear market and customer knowledge to ensure that the strategy reflects market requirements.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information that meet the needs of existing and prospective clients in order to improve the bank’s market share and ensure achievement of sales targets and objectives.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, and through researching and recommending new opportunities.
  • Works closely with and provides guidance to the sales team throughout the sales process from client opportunity planning, client meetings, proposal presentation and negotiation, and ultimately deal closing ensuring an efficient process.
  • Reviews the markets to identify opportunities and trends, and develops forecasts and sales plans accordingly.
  • Maintains sales efforts commensurate with market opportunity to generate new clients, while maintaining and expanding existing profitable client relationships.
  • Actively tracks records of sales and revenue to ensure that financial objectives are met.
  • Ensures clients needs are matched to the appropriate payroll product/solution in order to maximize revenues and ensure that customers are satisfied with the service that they receive.
  • Imbibes a team spirit throughout the sales process and collaborates with Corporate/SME units and branches in order to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service.
  • Establishes close working relationships and partnerships with internal stakeholders in other Departments and Value Centres to maximise cross-selling opportunities and better serve client needs.
  • Represents the bank by actively participating in external civic/community affairs, business/industry related organizations and other professional activities as appropriate to enhance the bank’s public image and develop additional business.
  • Solves problems faced by the clients in line with prescribed procedures, policiesand controls.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed to achieve the defined goals.

Job Requirements

  • University graduate with relevant disciplines
  • 5 years of work experience in sales & client relationship management
  • Possesses wide-ranging industry experience, uses professional concepts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
  • Internal & external stakeholder management
  • Strong analysis, presentation and communication skills
