Job Description

Position Purpose

The Sales Manager will largely be responsible for the development of the Mobile Money and financial and transaction services growth strategy for the company including the establishment of an annual mobile money and financial transaction revenue budget and gross margin forecast.

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Plann on weekly and monthly sales calls and report back to department head
  • Proactively exploring new range of government sales channels in the market
  • Contract & Execute in coordination with Legal, Finance & Operations department
  • Coordinate with internal training managers to educate & give training on Factories’ workers
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities and regular follow up with potential clients
  • Maintain relationship with existing clients and smooth coordination with internal departments for on-time performance
  • Prioritize individual attention along with regular and direct customer engagement
  • Direct the development and implementation of processes, controls and procedures within the MM & Transaction product vertical and ensure high levels of adherence to such controls and processes
  • Coordinate in conjunction with Marketing Department, the promotion and marketing of Mobile money and any new financial transaction services that Company may offer the market
  • Assist with the development of technical solutions to activate the Company channel to offer such services
  • Implement the necessary processes and control in conjunction with Finance / Central Services to ensure effective control of these new services

Job Requirements

Experience, Functional Skills and Knowledge Areas

  • At least 5 years of working experience with 2-3 years of experience in B2G or B2B sales background
  • Energetic, open-minded and flexible to work in any given work environment
  • Ability to work independently and proactively while improving processes and results, prioritizing work with minimal direction
  • Willing and able to offer insight beyond daily duties and find alternate solutions
  • Excellent market research skills 
  • Able to travel overnight trip within the country if necessary
  • Good command of English and Myanmar language (both spoken and written)
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to handle interfaces with different functions.
