The Senior Manager will be responsible for building a team of professionals to introduce our BET (Battery, Engine oil, Tyre) products into the region. He will be responsible for directing efforts with the Corporate Sales Representatives, promoting and selling company products, and maintaining customer relations with commercial customers in a professional and business-like manner. He/she will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.
  • Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
  • Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
  • Represents company at trade events/meetings to promote product.
  • Assigns sales territory to sales representatives.
  • Analyses sales statistics to formulate policy and assists stores in promoting sales.
  • Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Analyses and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Prepares regular sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Liaise and work with other departments within organization to prepare sales, marketing and financial literature.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
  • Evaluate and recommend to management team on new brands acquisition, as part of business development and expansion strategy.
  • Recommends or approves commercial sales budget and expenditures.

Job Requirements

  • Tertiary Education in Business/Marketing/Mechanical Engineering field
  • 5 plus years in Battery/Engine Oil/Tyre related operations, sales & marketing Management role Management role
  • Experienced working with OEM is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in Burmese; Basic English is a must; and Chinese/Mandarin is a plus.
  • Willing and able to travel within the Myanmar (20-30%) and sometimes to OEM Manufacturing countries
  • Experienced in setting up sales distribution channels for automotive service products is a plus.
