Education
-A Master’s degree in statistics, econometrics, economics, or any other related field of study.
-A First-Level University Degree (Bachelor's) in combination with minimum 3 years of significant relevant professional experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
-Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
-Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in developing and implementing sampling strategies for programme or project specific surveys.
-Experienced in developing and implementing sampling strategies for large and complex household or consumer surveys.
-Knowledge of the estimation of variances, the calculation of correlation, standard errors, imputation, etc.
-Knowledge of weighting of various sampling and data collection designs would be an asset.
-Familiarity with survey research literature, methods, and processes highly desirable.
-Experience in designing large scale surveys would be an asset.
-Writing skills and communication skills required.
-Excellent data analytical skills required.
